The Message of the Dolphin
Do you humans understand the beauty of life?
We Swim in the sea constantly surrounded by the beauty and abundance of God.
You too walk around in the sea of Abundance and love, yet you notice it not.
We wish that your eyes would open -
that you become aware of the unity of life that surrounds you.
We live and move and have our being within the absolute love
of God.
We bring you our Joy and our Playfulness
our trust in the father, mother god who protects, loves and
nurtures us every moment of every breath that we take.

Dolphins have always been a source of inspiration to me. Having
spent time observing them and understanding their behavioural
patterns and nature it became clear that they set a really good
example of how to live life fully if only we humans would take
note and learn from them

Instead we are their worst enemy.
They live in absolute intregrity with their environment co existing
peacefully moment by moment. They are essentially peace loving
creatures and only show signs of aggression when they or their
family are threatened.
They live joyfully and make the most of what nature has provided
them. Take the waves for instance instead of building gadgets
to alter wave motion they you see them froloking around and
surfing the waves like true masters and jumping for joy at the
exciliration of a good surf.
They are a collective and move as 1 in big groups.
If a pregnant female is about to give birth all in the pod are
aware and slow down surrounding the female and her 2 midwives
for protection in this vulnerable stage.
They understand the value of teamwork so do very sucessful food
hunting excursions collectively cornering the fish. They take
only what they need when they need it.
They are known for their intelligence and of late man has acknowledged
the amazing healing abilities of these beautiful creatures.

My reason for painting dolphins is to bridge a gap between humanity and nature, to express the essence of the dolphin through painting, creating a window of communication between us and the dolphin so that those that see these works be filled with the love and the magic healing power they extrude calming their inner turmoil and giving insight into the values that really count. The dolphins have message for us and hopely through my paintings I can bring people closer to understanding that message.
I have so often been asked why I paint dolphins and what the connection to them is - well the connection is not black and white or obvious to explain and I suspect that many people have this connection. There is something special about them that truely makes them stand out from other creatures.
At times I have felt that I am a conduit or channel for them to express a message they need to share with man. Having been involved in and promoted various dolphin and cetation protection campaigns it is clear that we humans are their biggest threat and enemy. Where is their voice when when NATO do their underwater nuclear testing and how do they express the horror of their first born dying from the intake of toxins in the milk fed to them by their mother after her swimimng in and absorbing polluted waters for 10 years that it takes reach fertility.
